Center Services
The main function of
the center is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release sick, injured, and
orphaned wildlife, giving them a second chance to live as they should, in
the wild.

Fawn taken when it
should have been left alone. They are born with no scent. The
mother comes to nurse, then leaves so she does not attract
predators to her young. When people come across a fawn alone, they
assume it has been abandoned and think they are rescuing it, when
in fact they are stealing it away from the mother. Unless you KNOW
that the mother has been killed, leave the fawn alone so the mother
can do her job. This little guy went to a center in
Christmas, Florida that specializes in raising orphaned deer. |
As more and more
people move into Florida, more and more animals are being crowded
out. Areas that used to be remote are now developed, leaving
wildlife injured in the process, or without the habitat they need to
survive. Many people are finding these animals at their
doorstep. Not knowing what to do for them, they will hopefully bring
them to licensed centers such as this one, knowing at least that the
animals are better off in experienced hands. Click
here if you currently have critters in your attic!

Came in only a
few days
