Brown Pelican
This bird had a very serious infection in
his right wing from a fish hook, but
fortunately the wing was not broken. With antibiotics, after several
weeks he was ready for release. He needed hundreds of fish during
that time to keep his body weight up while he recuperated. All food and
medication was paid for with the Wildlife Center's donated resources. |
