These seagulls that I'm releasing were the few survivors of a mysterious die off of approximately 100 birds that lived in the same general area. It was probably due to heavy metal poisoning of the water or their food source. Run off from lawn fertilizers or lawn spraying pollutes the surrounding lakes and ponds.
